I rate their women's stuff for quality (if non fashion) - has anyone ordred from the kids' range?

dd would get such a kick out of the tie-dyed tshirts but they're not especially cheap...

Tin't respond only will watch with interest - I hadn't realised Lands End did children'southward stuff but I've just had a look and institute a coat for dd when I've been trawling all afternoon looking for something warm but not shiny/fur trimmed.

I find their sizing MASSIVE...in the women'south wear at to the lowest degree. Good quality I think for the basics, but keep an eye on the sizing...

oh very nice - just had a look myself, i am likewise a fan of Millets childrens clothes - they have nifty sales

I used to go a lot of their children's apparel while living overseas - it was all very proficient quality (t-shirts kept their shape, trousers kept their knees etc) and I didn't find the sizing particularly large - my DCs always wore at least one or ii sizes bigger than their age, but that was the aforementioned with every brand of children's clothes. They also do some children'south items in slim/regular/'husky' sizing - the website gives pretty detailed sizing information as far as I remember.

The main ranges would probably work out quite expensive at current exchange rates, merely they always take very expert stuff in the 'overstocks' department - I used to buy big parcels of wearing apparel for the next wintertime at the end of the season, eg down jackets for most $25 which lasted through two children. Worth checking before you lot society whether you lot volition have to pay UK tax/import duty on anything you gild.

Have bought a coupleof things overseas - v good quality. Just got the catalogue for the new Uk kids stuff and it looks nice - apart from an obsession with 'modesty' - all skirts take born-shorts.

Ah, DD misses their skorts - she spends a lot of fourth dimension hanging upside downwards from climbing frames or sliding down firemen's poles and then they are actually not a bad thought.... So accept they started doing children's dress here now?

their schoolbags look proficient too

ok I am sold

I'm sold as well - take ordered glaze for dd1, who has rather pleasantly chosen the vivid blue rather than pink (breathes sigh of relief that she seems to exist coming out of the pinkish phase at long last... shame dd1 is 1.v and probably nearly to enter it)

We take a lot of their stuff. The 7 year old is currently wearing the sixteen twelvemonth olds hand me downs. It last forever.

I'd better check out the U.k. website and so - DS is too old for their stuff now, merely DD would probably however like it.

<<*Repose* - hello to some other Castle fan, I assume....>>

neither did I realise LE did kids' stuff...thanks for the tip!

Fab downward coats for DCs just arrived - complete with cuff gloves for when they forget their gloves/ get a snowball up their arm. Much nicer than the shiny Boden i on offer this year, and with a lawmaking, cheaper.

exexpat Tue 07-Sep-x 20:44:55

Did you lot mention a lawmaking, Annner?
<cosies up and flutters eyelashes....>

ds has worn their down coats for a few yrs now

I accept managed to go them on offer and the quality is bang-up.Shame he is the youngest as they never look worn out.
They have only expanded their kids range here in the uk and I like the look of the sweatshirts.
